Ambarussa works on your Mac. Nothing about your files — their names, paths, contents or the results of a scan — ever leaves it.
None. Ambarussa has no account, no analytics, no crash reporting, no ads and no third-party tracking. The only third-party component is Sparkle, the open-source updater described below, which sends nothing about you or your files.
Ambarussa reads only the folders you choose, inside the macOS App Sandbox. Scanning is read-only: it compares names, sizes and contents on your Mac and changes nothing. Files stored only in iCloud are skipped, not downloaded.
Results are kept in memory and discarded when you quit. The list of folders (as macOS security-scoped bookmarks) and your settings are stored on your Mac, in the app's own container.
Files move only when you ask: to the Trash, never deleted.
The version downloaded from this website checks for updates by downloading https://ambarussa.apps.sergioferraresi.it/appcast.xml from time to time while the app is open, and downloads an update only when you choose to install it. The request carries the app's and Sparkle's version numbers (for example Ambarussa/0.2.0 Sparkle/2.10.0) and your preferred language, as every web request does. It carries no system profile and nothing about your files. You can turn automatic checks off in Ambarussa › Settings › Updates.
This is the only connection the app makes.
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. It is hosted by Netlify, which — like any web host — processes your IP address to deliver pages and update files.
The ambarussa command-line tool never connects to the network.
Ambarussa does not collect data from any user, including minors.

Ambarussa lavora sul tuo Mac. Nulla dei tuoi file — nomi, percorsi, contenuti o risultati di una scansione — lascia mai il computer.
Nessuno. Ambarussa non ha account, statistiche d'uso, rapporti sugli arresti, pubblicità né tracciamento di terze parti. L'unico componente di terze parti è Sparkle, il sistema di aggiornamento open source descritto sotto, che non invia nulla su di te o sui tuoi file.
Ambarussa legge solo le cartelle che scegli, all'interno della sandbox di macOS. La scansione è in sola lettura: confronta nomi, dimensioni e contenuti sul tuo Mac e non modifica nulla. I file presenti solo su iCloud vengono saltati, non scaricati.
I risultati restano in memoria e vengono scartati quando chiudi l'app. L'elenco delle cartelle (come segnalibri con ambito di sicurezza di macOS) e le impostazioni sono salvati sul tuo Mac, nel contenitore dell'app.
I file vengono spostati solo quando lo chiedi tu: nel Cestino, mai cancellati.
La versione scaricata da questo sito controlla gli aggiornamenti scaricando https://ambarussa.apps.sergioferraresi.it/appcast.xml di tanto in tanto mentre l'app è aperta, e scarica un aggiornamento solo quando scegli di installarlo. La richiesta contiene la versione dell'app e di Sparkle (per esempio Ambarussa/0.2.0 Sparkle/2.10.0) e la lingua preferita, come ogni richiesta web. Non contiene alcun profilo del sistema né nulla dei tuoi file. Puoi disattivare i controlli automatici in Ambarussa › Impostazioni › Aggiornamenti.
È l'unica connessione che l'app effettua.
Questo sito non usa cookie, statistiche né script o font di terze parti. È ospitato da Netlify che, come ogni hosting, tratta il tuo indirizzo IP per consegnare le pagine e i file di aggiornamento.
Lo strumento da riga di comando ambarussa non si collega mai alla rete.
Ambarussa non raccoglie dati da nessun utente, inclusi i minori.
